New User Licenses

If you already own a previous version of Birder's Diary, then please see the next section for upgrade licenses.

You must purchase either a Basic or Advanced user license to use Birder's Diary. Don't worry, you can start out with the Basic license if you want and later upgrade to the advanced. You will also need at least one taxonomic list to use Birder's Diary. For an explanation of licensing, please see this page.

Taxonomic Lists

You must purchase at least one taxonomic list to use Birder's Diary. A user license is also required.
For an explanation of licensing, please see this page.

Important note concerning the new 2010 (and later) taxonomic lists: the new 2010 taxonomic lists and all lists going forward require version 3.7 or later of Birder's Diary. They will not work on previous versions of Birder's Diary due to a change in licensing technology that was required for v3.7. If this poses an undue inconvenience, please contact sales@birdersdiary.com.
