Jeff,

The problem arises in Tax Editor, when I attempt to copy a taxon from one list to another

If it already exists on the list and I am presented with the Copy anyway/cancel form,  the hourglass mousepointer never goes back to normal - it stays hourglass.

I believe that there may be another cause as well, but I am unable to determine what it is right now.

The program also resets sort order even if I say to cancel, which surprised me.  I would have thought it would just go away.

Regards,
Steve

I've noticed the persistent hourglass issue for quite a while now, but it never really bothered me much.  I never really was able to figure out how to make it do it on purpose, but it always was associated with the copy function.  For me, the hourglass is only present when the mouse pointer is inside the Tax View window...it goes back to pointer form outside of the window.  Very odd.

I think I brought the hour glass up back in beta testing a year or two ago so Jeff should be aware.
I too have gone into the ignor mode as it has no profound effect on my projects.

Unrelated; For those using XP and haven't been notified; SP 3 is available via MS Updates.
