Hello all,
Here are a few changes the DSA checklist committee just made for North American odonates. If you have downloaded the current tax list from this site, it should only take you a couple minutes to make these updates.
Common Name Changes:
1) Epitheca costalis is changed from Stripe-winged Baskettail to Slender Baskettail
2) Somatochlora elongata is changed from Ski-tailed Emerald to Ski-tipped Emerald
3) Phyllocycla breviphylla is changed from Dark-tailed Forceptail to Ringed Forceptail
4) Ophiogomphus susbehcha is changed from Wisconsin Snaketail to St. Croix Snaketail
5) Celithemis ornata is changed from Faded Pennant to Ornate Pennant
Scientific Name Changes:
1) Northern Bluet is changed from Enallagma cyathigerum to Enallagma annexum and thus placed after E. anna in the tax list
