Jeff,

I have an old computer running windows 98 for Birder's Diary.  Last year I bought a Mac.  I would like to use the Mac to run Birder's Diary using Parallels with Windows 98.  I just do not want to buy Vista (sounds like a worse product and fiasco than Windows Me) and with Windows Xp being discontinued, finding Xp software will be more and more limited.

Any plans to discontinue supporting Birder's Diary running on Windows 98 in the near future?

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Currently, and for v3.7, BD will support W98. But probably no longer after 3.7. But that will probably give you at least a 1-2 year window for now.

FWIW - Vista isn't that bad.

Jeff
