I recently upgraded to Clements 6.4.1, which added 3 species to my lifelist. I can't figure out which ones, however. How do I determine which of my sightings were split (and which were lumped, if any, for that matter)?

Hi,

Generate a life list using the old Clements and one using the new Clements. I find it helps to output common name and scientific name (in order to understand where the split came from) and to print in tax order (the default order if you don't specify a sort on any other field).

Now, compare the reports and find the differences. You can usually look at the last bird on each page to see if the pages agree, and thereby quickly locate the page and the extra birds.

The new Split Wizard coming in 3.7 will actually show you the splits that you had sightings for automatically. And thereby answer the question quicker - but alas, not ready for public consumption yet.

Jeff
