Now that I have version 3.6 of Birders Diary and since its been backed up, is it safe to uninstall my old version of 3.0.2 or, should I keep it if they share particular files.

Also, is the taxonomy fairly up to date or do you recommend purchasing Clements? ($99 is a bit too steep pricewise I think, at least for me).

If you remove v3.0, then you will have to install 3.6 again as the removal procedure isn't that smart and removes files that 3.6 depends on. My advice, just keep 3.0 around.

Your 3.0 tax lists are very out of date. I strongly recommend updating the taxonomic lists for the areas you bird in; e.g. ABA for North America and Clements for everywhere else is typical.
