Jeff,

Any updates on the availability of a 64-bit version of the ebird toolkit?  I've finally decided to get involved with ebird, but my primary computer now is a Windows 7 machine and the toolkit doesn't seem to work.  I do have access to a couple of 32-bit machines with BD installed, so I can use one of them, but it would be nice to use the Windows 7 machine.

Hi Neill,

Correct, the current version toolkit will not work on Windows 7. The toolkit is distributed with a DLL that is no longer used by Windows 7, and just replacing the DLL with the one that works on Windows 7 won't do the trick. Anyway, I am working on a updated version for the toolkit that works on windows 7 64 bit. I can't give you a date for when the new version is ready.
