I am getting a new work laptop and will need to transfer my birding software over to it. Can you help me? Thanks! Rick

Hi Rick, No problem. All you need to do is to install from this web site onto your new laptop. Then, to get your data over to your new system, see the FAQ at the top of the Downloads page. It has a topic on "How do I keep my data in sync...". Read that. If you have an "Upgrade to 3.5" license, and only if you have one of these licenses: Start v3.5 Click on Help \| License Information Click on Unlock by Phone Post in the technical support forums and provide the following information: The two user codes from the "Unlock by Phone" window in #3 above Your 3.0 License ID Your 3.5 License ID from your purchase I will respond with the two reg key codes that you will enter into the "Unlock by Phone" window. A similar question...I purchased BD when it was first re-released along with a Clements 2004 list. My old computer crashed and I can not access my user code and License ID but I did back up my data! Is there a way to get back these codes & ID's so I only need to upgrade?

Hello Calvin, Your information never goes away. I recommend this order of events: Install v3.5.56 from the downloads page (at the very bottom) onto your computer. License it using Clements License ID: 208508 3.5 Advanced User License ID: 208506 If you do not remember your password for either of these, please email me at jeff@birdersdiary.com and I can remind you. Then purchase the 3.6 upgrade license (your account info is still valid at the online store) Install v3.6 That should take care of it. Jeff
