Hi all at BD: I recently uploaded the 2011 Clements/Cornell Taxonomy and the latest splits added 25 species to my life list. However, the count at the bottom of the main screen still shows my world count at 4,025 which is what is was under the 2010 Clements/Cornell Taxonomy. Is there a way to link those together? Thanks.

Hi Todd,

The Counts at the bottom of the main BD window are setup separately.

The quickest way to change that is to right-click anywhere on the main BD screen background and choose Configure Lifer Counts. Change the taxonomy in use on the next window.

Another way to do this, and more efficient as it can change the tax list used in several places is to:

  1. Open the Options window (View > Options)
  2. Select the General TAB
  3. Click on the Change Taxonomy button
  4. Use this window to change the taxonomy in use by saved report settings, lifer bars, and these counts at the bottom of the window (there is a button for the last one)

Take care,

Jeff

Sorry for the late reply, Jeff (off birding of course!). That solved the problem. Thanks.

Todd
