Hi Skip,
Did you install on a system which had 3.0 on it? If so, it should have found your database and copied it over. If not, then review the ReadMe file (c:\program files\birder's diary\$readme35.rtf) for instructions on copying your 3.0 database file into your 3.5 installation directory.
That should take care of it.
