Subject: 3.5 upgrade unlock problem

I have just purchased and downloaded BD3.5 upgrade from BD3.0.2. When I try to Unlock by phone, it will not accept my license key from 3.0.2. Where do I go from here?

Hello DJBird: The instructions for activating your upgrade can be found on this web site at Purchase >> Upgrading from 2.5 or 3.0 Please check the section for Upgrading from version 3.0.x and let me know if you are still having problems. I just updated the text on this page for part of these instructions where I think they were less than clear. Jeff

I also have an upgrade unlock problem. Codes are 231949867 and 8357041. I have used Birder's Diary since version the beginning. I was unable to unlock it using my license key and password from version 3 and have the 3.0.2 version. Thanks.

I believe that you mention you are running v3.0.2 currently. But that version should not give you any codes such as what you supply. In either case, 1. To activate v3.0.2, there is a program at the bottom of the "Produt Info > Upgrading from v2.x or 3.0" page. The program is titled, aptly enough, Activate v3.0.x License. Just click on that and choose run. It will license/activate v3.0.2 on your system. 2. If you are running a later version (3.5 or 3.6), then all you need to do is to a. Click on Help \| License Information b. Click on Unlock Now c. Enter your License ID and password and click OK Note: you must be connected to the internet Let me know if this doesn't get you going.
