You have helped me several times in the past with my old laptop (that finally died)
and when I installed 3.5 onto this new Dell laptop.  However, I am in trouble again.

My computer guy had to reinstall my operating system. Somehow, when he moved everything
from my old broken laptop to this one, something happened.  Something to do with
the .net framework? and error messages saying programs were on the network and not
available??  I have never been on a network with this computer.

Now, when I try to open BD 3.5.56, I get a run time error ".2147024894 (80070002)
"The system cannot find the specified file"

I tried to reinstall from the disc I have, a 2004 version of 3.0, but I get an error
message that says invalid call to compare versions one or both parameters have not
been provided:  VersionA=      VersionB=3.1.5

What do I do now?  Have I lost all my data - again??

Would it be best just to purchase the 3.5 CD in case this happens again?

I think I need really need is a different computer tech to work on my computer!
