Hi David, This would indicate that your dial-up connection is simply not stable enough for an upload of this size. It cannot maintain a valid connection long enough to upload that file. Can you please put your database onto a CDrom and mail it to me at Jones Technologies LLC 2679 Sunnywood Ave Woodland Park, CO 80863 I will convert your database and send it back on a CDrom. Didn't I send the whole program to you data and all at first? Couldn't you just get the data from that?

Yes David. Sorry - I should have made that clear. Got it - it is in good shape and already about 80% complete with the conversion. I will post back here with instructions when the conversion is done. Jeff

Hi David, Your database has been converted and uploaded to my server. Right-Click on the following link and choose "Save As" (20MB file) to save to your local disk. http://www.birdersdiary.com/Downloads/DavidWalsh.zip Now follow the remaining instructions on the Product Info >> Upgrading from 2.x or 3.0 page under the section entitled Upgrading from 2.x. The only variation is that you are not upgrading to 3.6 - only 3.5 at the time. Let me know if I can assist with any of this. Jeff

Where is the installation directory? one needs a degree in computers to sort this stuff out.
