Just wanted to document this. Had a customer install v3.6 onto his 64-bit Gateway computer running Microsoft Vista. After installation, starting BDV36 produced rte 53, file not found, and BD exits. After some investigation, I found that the program was set to "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (sp2)". You can see this by right-clicking on the desktop binocular icon and choosing Properties. Then select the Compatibility TAB. If the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" CheckBox is checked, uncheck it. After doing this, BD runs fine and all licenses can be activated. fyi Jeff

Jeff - To further document - the machine was a 64-bit computer, but was it running 64-bit Vista as well? I'm guessing yes, but since you CAN run 32-bit Vista on a 64-bit box, it probably should be documented which it was. I'm thinking there could be a difference in behavior between the two versions of Vista. Kevin
