I have just upgraded(?) to ver 3.6.49 and now get the dreaded Run-time error '13'  Type mismatch error screen.  When I try to use the add function to enter new sighting Birder's Diary completely shuts down.  I origionally used the single file upgrade and got the error message.  I then used the network upgrade and still have the same problem.  I have rebooted the computer and still get the error screen and then a shut down of the program.

In searching the archives about his problem, it seems that it somehow involves changing some lines in the registry.  Please tell me that I don't have to mess with the registry, as I don't feel comfortable doing that.

Other than tis new problem, I have been pleased with and get good service from Birder's Diary.

Any help that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
