Yes, something weird did happen to the FL checklist. I didn't lose all species, but all the subspecies disappeared. I assume this has to do with a glitch in Jeff's master checklist that was made available here, but I have no idea. In any case, I sent Jeff a fixed FL checklist. I've also attached that checklist here.
To import the checklist, download the file from here but don't open it. In the BD File menu, click on Import/Export. Click on the Checklists tab and choose an ABA taxonomy (with or without subspecies...the checklist attached here does include all the relevant FL subspecies). Click the Analyze checkbox (not necessary if you trust me ), but do NOT click the Ignore Subspecies box (b/c this checklist has the proper subspecies and will remove any extraneous ones that might be in your file). Choose the Overwrite Locations option (which, again, will remove any incorrect species on your current version). Click Import and find the checklist you just downloaded from here. Make sure the analysis looks like it makes sense, then click continue import. Voila, done.
