Hi,

I recently recovered from a hard disk crash.  I installed 3.6 on my new hard drive and then copied the backed up database to the new directory.  Everything works fine but I get the runtime error 3346 (Number of query values and destination values are not the same) when I try to run Checklists.  I searched the forum and found some other people with this problem but I am not sure how to correct it in my case.  I thouhgt my version of 3.6 on my old computer was the latest version and so should be the same as the one I downloaded and installed?  Therefore I am surprised my backup database seems incompatible.

Hi Mike,

You seem to have done everything correctly. It should be working.

If you have MS Access on your system, I can get onto your system and fix this, else I will need for you to upload your database (after ZIP'ng it) to me using the Support => File Upload page on this site.

I think I just uploaded a zipped copy of my database.  Let me know if there are any problems.

Hi Mike,

Your database works just fine here on my system.

So, there is a mismatch between the version of the database and the version of BD you are attempting to use it with.

Did this database come from a beta v3.7 installation by any chance? Or, are you sure you are running BD v3.6.49 as the actual program on your new machine?

Let me know - we will get this figured out and working shortly.

Mike,

I just checked and your database looks like a valid 3.6.49 database. I don't see any problems with this. I suspect then, for some reason that you are not running version 3.6.49 of BD from the Downloads page.

Please start BD, select "Help | About" and see what version that says.

Thanks for all your help. 

Although I freshly downloaded the program before the restore, for some reason it was version 3.6.29.  I used autoupdate to update to 3.6.49 and now everything is working fine.  Maybe you should double-check that your download file is .49?

Hi Mike,

Very weird. The version on the Downloads page is indeed 3.6.49. I just did a test install. Glad all is working and thanks for the update.
