Hi,

I recently bought a new computer with Windows Vista.  I upgraded to BD 3.6 (had v3.5 on my old computer) and downloaded it from this site, initiated the program as an Administrator as suggested in this forum, and restored my old data which was backed up on a flash drive.  Everything seems to be working fine - for my bird lists, in any case. 

The issue is that while my "birds of the world" license seemed to automatically activate, the other checklists I had previously purchased did not, and my old activation info (license no and activation codes) don't work to get them up and running.  It just says I have already activated those licenses, even though I have no access to them in BD 3.6.  Do I need new activation codes or something?  Please help! 

The checklists I used to have that are now missing are:   

Butterflies, Whales & Dolphins, Amphibians, Reptiles, Cacti, Trees and Dragonflies

I am wondering if the problem is activation or the absense of the tax lists.

All of your data and taxonomic lists are contained in your database. If you restored a backup of your database after installing 3.6 on your new system, then you should have all of your data and taxonomic lists. When you click on the View/Edit button, do you see all of your taxonomic lists on the right? If you don't, then you don't have a copy of your database from your old system and that is why you are missing some tax lists. If you do see all of your tax lists, then please explain to me again what seems to not be working.
