I have Birder's Diary World edition.  Last time I opened the software earlier this year it ran successfully and I added bird sightings.

I just returned from a trip and clicked to open Birder's Diary.  It returned (on two separate computers) with the following message:

Run Time Error 53

File not found:  KeyLib32.dll

I have not done anything in the meantime except normal operating system updates.  I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3.  How can I get Birder's Diary working again?

Sorry for my delayed response. I opened this yesterday and it got lost in the shuffle somehow.

The solution should be as simple as re-running the installation. Make sure you save a copy of your database (...//data/database.mdb) for safe keeping before doing this. Just re-running the installation should lay down a new copy of keylib32.dll.

This is usually caused by new software installations/updates overwriting such files.
