Subject: Could not lock file

Jeff,

 

I just downloaded, installed and licensed the latest version of BD. I restored my backup files and when starting BD I occasionally get the following message: "Could not lock file" supportInfo/tabloid/58/Default.aspx

This message appears at the start of the program and only occurs once in every two or three starts. I would appreciate your help.

I am running Windows Vista

Interesting Roland. When do you get this error? What is the last thing you do in BD, before the error occurs?

Jeff,

At just the mention of your name, the problem has not reoccurred. I installed BD, and since I use Vista, right-clicked on the application, ran as an administrator, and entered my license number. My memory is a little fuzzy as to what I did next. I do know after closing the program and re-opening it, I got the error. I closed the progam and re-opened it several times. I would get the error every three or four cycles. After posting on the forum, I tried opening the program several times with no problem. Thanks for fixing it!!
