When I tried to add the swansoni's subspecies of the Royal Flycatcher that I just saw in the Atlantic Forest of eastern Brasil, the sightings entry checklist did not include this subspecies when filtered by chosing Brazil. The subspecies did appear when the filter was set to South America. Something to change for future release, if not already done.

Thanks Tom. We are working on updating such information constantly. Thanks for notifying me of this.

When this happens in the future, e.g. a thing is not appearing on your checklist that you want to enter a sighting for, using the Add Name button on the Checklist Entry window. This will allow you to add the name of any thing in your database quickly to the bottom of your current checklist entry grid and keep going.

Jeff:

That's a cool feature, I usually input birds by Keyboard rather than Checklist, so had forgotten all about it. Any chance of getting that added to the Keyboard method also?

Thanks!

Hi Rob,

Wonder why I never had that there to begin with?

Sheesh. I will put it in.
