When 3.6.14 first came out, I installed it and was told it was a demo and to unlock it.
My license info was at home so I waited until today.
I downloaded 3.6.2 before I unlocked it. The unlock feature wants 3.5.
My number of times is up according to the computer,
Please resit my number of times.
I noticed on my home computer, where I only downloaded 3.6.2, skipped 3.6.14, that it did not go into demo mode. Is this normal? Asking because I have not yet updated my laptop and do not know what to expect.

Hi Dave,
On the computer in demo mode, do you have a licensed version of 3.5 on that system? If so, then all you need to do is to enter your Upgrade to 3.6 License ID & password.
If not, then you need to follow the instructions in the Product Info >> Version 3.6 Information page on this site. Specifically (oops - I just added the info):
- If you installed 3.6 on a new system that did not have 3.5 previously on it, precede below; else go directly to step 4.
- Click on Unlock by Email
- Post in the technical support forums and provide the following information:
- The two user codes from this window
- Your 3.5 and 3.6 License IDs
- I will respond with the two reg key codes that you will enter on this same window and click Ok.
- Click on Unlock Now
- Enter your 3.6 License ID and password and click Ok.
On your other system where you downloaded 3.6.20, it should be in demo mode. I suspect you are still clicking on and running v3.5.

At home, when I bring up 3.6, it shows version 3.6.20, but I never entered any license code after updating. It never went to demo.
At the office, everything has been upgrades since 2.5, right on thru 3.0,3.5,3.6 etc.. When I try to unlock it, it shows that it needs 3.5 license. Version is 3.6.20 with 3.6.14 database. All my sightings etc are still in it. Demo mode.
I will check everything at the office next time I go in and advise again, may be a while.

Let me make sure I have this correct.
So, you have v3.6.20 on two systems: home and office.
Home seems to be running fine at this version. Bring up the License Info window (Help | License Information) and see what it says the Licensed Features window.
Office has 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 3.6 on it. When you try to enter your 3.6 License ID, it says you aren't licensed for v3.5.
Do this on your office machine:
1. Start 3.6
2. Click on Help | License Information
3. Click on Unlock by Email
3a. Post the two user codes from that window here
3b. I will respond with the two reg key codes that you will enter on that window and click Ok
4. Click on Unlock Now
5. Enter Your 3.6 License ID and Password and click Ok
That will take care of your office.

If I understand it right, everything in the license info window should already be licensed.
If this is correct, I should not have butterflies or whales and dolphins. It also shows all the 2004 and 2005 birds that I have licensed and 3.6 advanced.
All this on home computer.

Hi Dave,
In the last post you indicate "3.5 user codes"; I hope those codes are from running v3.6 and not v3.5. As it needs to be the former. Assuming it is, here are your reg key codes:
