I have purchased a new PC at home, a Dell XPS 9000 Studio, running Win 7 Home, 64 bit.  My old machine is a Win XP Pro machine. 

Can I get some advice on the nest way to transfer my Birder's Diary program over to the new PC.  Also the best way to save my siting data and get that into the new machine as well.

Not sure exactly which version I am running on the old machine at this time.  If that's importnat I can check when I get home.

If more details are needed to do this effectively please let me know and I will post them.

Hi Ken,

v3.0.2 is no longer offered. You should have a CDrom with that on it. In that case, you would want to install BD from that CDrom and continue with the instructions.

Also, to activate your copy of 3.0.2, you will want to go to the bottom of the Product Info => Upgrading from 2.x or 3.0 page on this site and you will see a program you will need to download and run to activate your v3.0 license. Licensing changed after v3.0.
