Two problems:

1) A few minutes ago, I opened BD and when I clicked ADD the Sightings Entry Set Up window appeared along with a window that describes Runtime Error 3049. 

2) Last weekend, BD was showing a March 2010 date rather than February in the add sightings via checklist window and on the main window when I open BD.  I have it set to show sightings in my yard for a week before and after current date.  It shows wrong month, but correct date for the day.  I'd hoped this would go away when I rebooted, but it recurred again today on my opening window.

Sounds like you may have changed your system locale/region settings.

How about I get on your system and have a look.

1. On this web site, go to Support => Desktop Sharing

2. Read the instructions

3. Click on Start Session

Update: got on Janice's system. Her system date was incorrectly set - this is where BD gets it from. Set that. Could not reproduce Add error.
