Hi - I am getting this error message on screen when I go to the add sightings button. I have read your suggested solutions and carried them out but am still experiencing the same problem. The complete message is as follows:

                                               Run-time error '13':

                                               type mismatch

can someone advise what I am doing wrong.

I've occassionaly got the dreaded RTE 13 message. Following Jeff's instructions has always worked for me both when trying to add and also when trying to view/edit. It is important that all of the files that Jeff identified are deleted. I suggest reviewing them to be sure that you didn't miss any.
