I've tried to access the Users Guide on my laptop with Windows 7 and got an error message referring me to a Windows site to download a Help file. Can't figure out what I'm supposed to do. What's the easiest way for me to get my hands on a Users Guide?

Hi, The solution to fixing the users guide on "7" is to follow the instructions in that message. However, for your assistance, that solution can also be found at the top of this page in the FAQ section. Or, you can use the incomplete help for v3.7 on this site under Support >> Online Users Guide. It is a work in progress but has most everything you need. If all of that fails, please post here and I will give all the assistance you need. Let me know if I can do more. Jeff

I have the same question concerning the users guide on Win 7. Will v3.7 have this resolved for us? If so, I will wait for the release of the new version and hopefully some other minor problems will also be fixed. Thanks....Carol

Yes Carol - v3.7 will fix this issue. Microsoft changed the technology for help files on me before I could get a new version out. To be sure, the only thing you should not be able to access with the 3.6 help files (after applying the patch in the FAQ above) are the videos. Is that what you are experiencing? Jeff

Nope...the videos are not available to me either. The other problems would be another topic and I assumed I should start a new topic to ask you about them. Am I right? One about printing reports and the other is "Birder's Diary has quit working"...... Thanks again...Carol
