I have a MacBook Pro and recently upgraded both my Parallels and windows operating system (to Windows 7).  I tried to re-install my Birder's Diary, but it tells me that I have a corrupt I/O file and will not install it.  I have a CD for installation and version 3.5.  The CD has been stored in its case, but does have scratch marks on it acquired from past installations on my desktop and when I've upgraded software systems in the past.  Please help.

Hello Bruce,

Simply install v3.5 from the bottom of the Downloads page on this site. That should do the trick.

When activating your licenses for Windows 7, be sure to use the instructions at the top of this page (run as admin).

Let me know if we can help with anything further,

Jeff

Thanks for that, Jeff.  That worked perfectly.  Next step: how do I import my old database into the re-installed program so that all my old records are restored?  I saved the database in a file and just need to know where to put it.

Thanks,

Bruce

Never mind.  I got it done via the "restore" function.

Sorry for my delay Bruce. I was gone for the weekend and just got back.
