I recorded all my entries from a trip to Sweden in 2008. I tried retriving them using the view and edit menu. There are no records form my trip to sweden. If I go to the life list menu I can pull up the life list from Sweden but there are records missing. I have checked a cross section of my recent trips and it appears only to have a problem with the Sweden records.

How are you going about attempting to view your sightings? My guess is that you are specifying the wrong taxonomic list. Be sure to use a taxonomic list that covers the birds of Sweden (e.g. Clements, etc).

If that doesn't solve it for you, please tell me exactly all your settings for the View/Edit setup window.

I am using Clements -2004. I click on the View/Edit button. The view sightings set up screen appears. Ignore year selected. Location left blank. Trip selected 2008-Sweden (This matches my trip file). Birds-Clements-world-2004 selected. Continue is selected . No records show up. I repeated the process looking for an individual bird and still no records. Thanks

Hello Ray,

Perhaps your sightings are not linked to your 2008-Sweden trip. Try this: just choose Clements and the proper date range and see if those sightings show up. If they do, and location looks right, then all you need to do is select all sightings and then click the Edit button on the View window. Then you can assign all sightings to your Sweden trip in one move.
