This is the week for weird installation issues for sure.
Is it the full BD application that starts, or just the "Check for Updates" mini-app?
Nothing in the Bd installation or the product itself registers itself to autostart on boot. In either case, the solution to stopping startup applications is by checking all the various places that Wiondows auto-starts apps on boot. I don't know the complete list off the top of my head, but know that there is
- a user-specific startup folder
- an all-users startup folder
- various 3rd party apps that auto-start programs for you
- Registry runonce and runalways keys that windows uses to start programs on boot
- boot.ini
