Jeff, sorry to be starting a new topic, but I couldn't find this issue elsewhere in the forums.

I've upgraded to BD3.7.54. It cost me nothing as a licensed happy 3.6 user.

I've purchased Clements/Cornell 6.6 2011 and have receipt, with license and password, see screen capture.

When attempting to add sightings, the not yet activated Clements obviously generates an error screen, which list all of my licensed and activated products. Selecting the "unlock now" button generates a screen which requests license and password, which I input, then select "OK".

Next screen presents me with the Bad Key message: "The information entered was not validated by the server. Please try again or contact Tech Support."

Did I get screen capture?

I don't see the screen capture. No problem.

You have previously purchased a license v3.7 - so you should have already had the previous version and I show that it is activated. That is why 3.7 installed and should be working for you without further activation.

That error for your Clements tax list indicates you are not entering the correct license ID and password. I suspect you are entering the installation password from your invoice, and not your license password. Please double-check and make sure you are entering your license password.

Jeff, thanks. As usual, you got it in one. I'm just slow enough to think that "password" would be the licensing password on the receipt, rather than my personal password. Personal worked fine, and I'm back out in the field this morning in Zion, slightly below freezing, after entering my sightings from Lytle Ranch, UT from yesterday.
As an aside, I'm on BirdingPal.com for Las Vegas, and use Birders Diary to log lists of sightings. Find me there when you head into town, I know many of the good sites.
