I am 70 years old and not totally computer illiterate, but I am having a problem with the World Edition. I purchased the World Edition but the only taxonomies listed are "Birds - Clements - Extinct" and "Birds - Western Paloartic 2004". I would have assumed that the "World 2008" would be activated. What a I doing wrong?

Hello Bob,

What version of BD are you running exactly? e.g. v3.0.x, v3.5.x or v3.6.x.

Did you buy from a distributor? e.g. Thayer's Online Birding Mall... If you did, and it is v3.5 or later, then the CD comes with two licenses, one for the program itself and one for a taxonomic list, e.g. Clements... See what version the license (a label on the inside of your CD case under the CDrom itself) is for (e.g. Clements 2008 6.3.2).

I purchased the program from Online Nature Mall around 06/15/2010. The version # is 3.6.49 Advanced User License. The other product on the same CD is Birds - Clements - World 2008 v6.3.2. Maybe I missed something in the installation.
