I solved the second of my problems. Copying to CD-RW. The prior back up CD format was not compatible with the MS Vista system. When I formatted a new disk, I was able to copy the backup file to the CD. I am now in business. Next challange is downloading and installing Clements 2008. Should be straight forward as I have downloaded tax lists and checklists before and I know how long it takes particularly the checklist.
