Yes Rob. This is in 3.7 and has been beta tested.

Thanks,

Jeff

Wow... totally missed that it had already been beta tested! But very happy it made it in.

Thanks!

Hi Jeff!

Is it part of the current version of 3.7 that is being beta tested?

Okay I'll come right out and ask - can you please point me in the direction of it? For the life of me I can't locate it.

I'm just back from the UK and would like to print out a Trip Report (with Lifers being hi-lited).

Thanks!

Lost Rob

HI Rob,

It is at the top of the downloads page. Let me know if you cannot see it.

Hi Jeff:

Yeah, I had found it on your website, but for some reason it was grayed over on my computer. But once I reinstalled BD it worked great.

Hi Rob,

That is the way I meant for it to work. But I can see why you would want it to work the other way.

Let me work on all of these things you are asking for. Shouldn't be hard.

Thanks for continuing to push.

Jeff

Hi Jeff!

Sorry if this was already covered, but do you think v3.7 will still have:

1. A trip list that only lists each species only once - regardless of how many times the bird was seen, (as listed on page one of this topic)
2. A trip list that only lists each species once, and (if an Observer is checkmarked) only lists the trip birds seen by that Observer, and also high-lights their Lifers (as Sightings Reports are capable of).

Or some variation there of...

Thanks (you did say thanks for pushing!)

Rob

Hi Rob,

The TRIP TAB on the reports window does #1. #2 will not occur. #2 present problems. When you list all sightings as in the sightings report, then you can determine which sighting of, say, 4 Steller's Jays was the lifer sighting. But when you condense down to only listing that bird once - marking it as a lifer is misleading. Hard to consolidate sightings and then pick an attribute of just one of them.

Thanks

Jeff

Hi Jeff:

#1. Created a Trip List, but it is still listing species more than once (see below). I think we discussed this - is it because location is chosen as a variable?

Yes - Rob. If you output location then you will see each unique species seen at that location. They will show multiple times if seen at more than one location. For this report, I typically sort by location and group by location.

If you are not interested in each location that a species was seen at, then you can remove location as an output column and then each bird will only be listed once.

Jeff
