Well - I do hate it when this happens. I got your database and opened it with Diary on my system and it imported the Easter Island checklist just fine (using Clements 2004) as the tax list. But both you and Pete are getting this error. Just updating your. Will start more digging. Jeff

Ok - the problem was in the Checklist import file. Somehow it got an extra empty line at the end. I have uploaded a new one without the problem. Both attachments in this post have the corrected checklist file. Thanks for your assistance in solving this. Jeff
