Thanks Matthias. Found the bug. It does not affect proper use, setting, editing of name lists and taxonomic lists. It comes at the end of the "Set Common Names" function when it tries to save a list of the changes in case you want to revert the names back to before the current change. You will not be able to use the list created for reverting back, as that is what fails to get created.

Everytime you change common names using this feature, it is supposed to save a list of what the names were before the change. This is failing on multiple attempts because of a duplicate key error in the database.

So,

• Your database is not corrupt
• You can keep using this feature in 3.6.49 and just ignore the error when it occurs and restart BD normally (no need to reset registry values)
• This will be fixed in v3.7
