Have got into a total muddle while trying to update my laptop from my desktop. Now I can't get BD to work at all on the laptop. The message it is now sending is "run time error 339 component jtc2statbutton or one of its dependencies not correctly registered". Help please.

Hi Charles, What you want to do is to install BD from the Downloads page on this site. See the instructions for moving BD to another computer here: http://www.birdersdiary.com/Documentation/BDV37/How_To/Move_Birder_s_Diary_to_a_new_Computer.htm or keeping two computers in sync here: http://www.birdersdiary.com/Documentation/BDV37/How_To/Keep_Birder_s_Diary_In_Sync_Between_Two_or_More_Computers.htm Those are the instructions that you want to follow. Hi Jeff I've had BD on the laptop for sometime but made a mess of things when I tried to update it with a back up from the desktop. It couldn't find the update or couldn't recognise it. I think the most practical thing would be if you could sort it out with remote access please. Regards Charles
