I'm having some trouble getting a print or email format that works. If I try to send or print a report via a pdf format, I get an error message; "Cannot find or create the font "MS Sans Serif". Some characters may not display or print correctly" and the text in the report is a series of dots. If I try to send an htm, some recipients can't read it. The txt format works but looks very primitive. Is there any way to print a report via MS Word? If not, that would be a nice addition to a later upgrade.

Hi,

I had the same problem once with PDF and MS Sans Serif. A reboot cleared it up. For some reason, Windows lost that font temporarily.

You can useRTF format also - that is readable by MS Word.

Let me know on the reboot please.

Jeff

Thanks for the prompt reply. The missing font issue in pdf has been a problem on my last two computers so rebooting doesn't help.

Ok - a couple ideas then.

First, just Google installing ms sans serif font on your computer. You will find instructions and the file for the font. That should take care of it.

Or, you could produce the report with some other font. Just go to the Output Columns button and change the default font as well as the font for any field that is using MS Sans Serif.
