I have several hundred records of species x. I would like to summarise observations by month in a report. By this, I mean I would like to know how to count all of the records for each month, irrespective of year. Any suggestions? Scozza

I do not know of a magic report to do this. The Ignore Years checkbox on sightings reports allows selection by date range across years. It would take some work, but it might be possible to create a set of reports using that checkbox and Group By summarization to give you what you want. But I am just speculating on what you want. Could you provide an example of what you are looking for?
