Hello, I recently purchased the Clements world v6.3.2 and I am attempting to install it on my computer.  I don't know the version I have right now but I think we bought it in 2004/2005.  When I click the import checklist it asks if I want to overwrite the checklists (which the video tells me to do).  When I click that there is a warning that selecting this will "clear all checklist data for locations referenced in the import file before importing the contents of the file."  Does this mean the checklist will erase all of my sublocations?  Also what do I have to do to get my sightings into the newer version?  Does it do it automatically or do I have to do something special.

Hi Andy,

It will not erase or alter in any way your sublocations or user-defined locations.

You don't have to do anything to get your sightings into the newer version.

OK I do have one issue.  I have Clements 2008 v6.3.2 available if I click the Add button at the top of the screen.  I cannot access it because I have not activated the license but when I go to activate the license Clements 2008 v6.3.2 is not available to activate.  I only have Clements World 2004.

Hi Andy,

Clements 6.3.2 will NOT show up on the License Information window until after you activate it. Go ahead and follow the instructions and click on Unlock Now; enter your license ID and password as per the instructions and then it will show up and be activated.

If you followed along with the video that was downloaded, it would have shown that you also needed to import two files - 1) tax list file and 2) checklist data file. Did you import both?
