Hi

2 months ago i installed Birders Diary version 3 on my netbook. It all worked fine until the netbook crashed and i had to reinstall windows XP. I went through the same process and reinstalled Birders Diary and copied the Data file. When i try to open any of my lifelists i get this error message: Run-time error 3346 Number of query values and destination fields are not the same. Thanks Charlie Jackson

Hi Charlie,

It appears that your version of BD and your version of the database are out of sync.

My guess is that your database was at the version appropriate for v3.0.2 and that you installed either v3.0.0 or v3.0.1 of BD. When you start BD, what version does it say BD and your database are? Each should be different for v3.0 of BD.

My guess is that you need to upgrade BD to v3.0.2. That upgrade, if you don't have it on CD, is available at the bottom of the Product Info >> Upgrading from 2.x or 3.0 page on this web site.
