Hi . Got a new pc - installed via Net - worked fine. Backed my old BDV3 to an external drive, restored in to new BD Both BD's at same level etc. Database ie. Now trying to unlock - enter License information and password. Returns with see dok1.doc Please help. Best regards from Denmark Per

Hi Per, Thanks for the screen shot. One of two things: 1. you are not connected to the internet when you try this (you MUST be connected to the internet) 2. Or you do not have a v3.6 license. It sounds to me like you may have converted your 3.0 database to run under 3.6, which it will do. But, you must have a valid 3.6 license (see Online Store page on this site) to run v3.6. Hi Jeff Yes, I have version 3.6 - and Internet access as I try to unlock Both BD systems are at same level 3.6.49 also the Database. I'm using the license key from my original Birders Diary World edition from 3.0 is that the problem. Did I receive another with the upgrades - the I have to check my email archive? Clements is at version 2004 I have not upgraded that. brgds Per

Hi Per: Yes - that is the problem. You cannot use your 3.0 license on 3.6. Your 3.6 license is "448671". If you don't know your password, I will send it to you via email. Let me know please. Jeff

Hi Jeff Great support - I'm up and running! Do You approx. when the 3.6 upgrade was released - I'm pretty sure I did soon after release. Its just to find the email with the license information in my archives. Thanks alot and looking forward to 3.7 and 4.0 which i'm sure will blast us all Per

I think what Per means is, what was the release date on 3.6? If he or she upgraded shortly after release, it would give a pointer as to the datestamp on the email containing the registration codes would have arrrived, making it easier to find.

Thanks Kevin. Per - you bought your 3.6 upgrade license on 9/28/06. But, you can always logon to the Online Store and retrieve your License Info etc from this web site. Jeff
