Is there anyway to delete a thing? For example awhile back I made my own taxonomy of amphibians for my state. It contained only a few records. I went ahead purchased the amphibians of North America taxonomy. It did not show all the species I had sightings for. After doing some comparisons I found out that I had misspelled a name when I made my original short list. I have already edited the individual records with the the mispelling, so I no longer have any sightings associated with the mispelled thing . The problem is the misspelled one comes up before the correct one in the autocomplete fields. Rather than risk entering sightings in for the wrong thing I like to delete it.

Can never delete a thing.

To get around your problem, edit your errant thing in the Thing Editor, change its Name/Description to something like "zzzzzz".

Now it won't come up when you try to enter the other name.
