I am showing no record in my database by your last name or email address. Not to worry, this probably just means that you purchased from a distributor (e.g. Thayer Birding's Online Nature Mall, etc). It just means that I cannot confirm what you had precisely. But we can guess together.

Since you purchased in 4/2007, then you must have purchased v3.6. Coming from a distributor, BD is only available in North America (basic user license and ABA tax list) or World (advanced user license and Clements tax list) editions. Do you remember if you had the North American or World version?

Let me know and I will set you up with a user license. Then you can purchase (you do not qualify for the upgrade price since you don't own last year's version of thetax list) the tax list(s) you want and get back up and running in minutes.

Hi Tony,

I have created you a new account that I just emailed the specifics on to your email address. I created a 3.6 basic user license in there for you - no charge.

Now - all you need to do is:

1. Install BD v3.6 from the Downloads page on this site.
2. Purchase a taxonomic list(s) (it will already be in your database if you did not install 3.6 before 2 hours ago)
3. Start 3.6, activate your licenses.
4. Start using BD.
