I just purchased and installed Birder's Diary 3.6 on a new computer. 

I had an older version of Birder's Diary on a different computer.  The license expired on that one, so I only have read only.  I have not figured out how I can get the file I need from the old computer to import to 3.6 on the new computer.  Can you help me??

BD licenses never expire. So not sure what the problem is there. I show that you have a user license for 3.6 and 'ABA 2009 w/subspecies' tax list. All you have to do is to activate that license on your old computer if it is saying that you are expired or in demo mode.

You can also run BD on any computer you own and use personally. So, to move BD to another computer, please see this topic in the Online Users Guide here.

Also, if activating your licenses on Vista or 7, please use the instructions at the top of this page in the FAQ section.
