Jeff, 

I have re-downloaded and re-installed BD.  Now I need my product license number to activate BD, but I cannot locate that number.  Can you send it to me?

Jeff,
After downloading BD on my Vista system, I followed instructions and got the license box as described. But couldn't find my license ID. You sent it to me, thank you. Now when I right click the icon and click Run as Admin, I don't get the license box, but rather the error box "Run Time Error 13,Type Mismatch." I see that users can get that error box under other circumstances and I see how to fix it for those other circumstances. What about my situation? How to fix?

Hi Vic,

Interesting. I have seen this one other time on Vista. Follow the instructions at the top of this page for RTE13, but just delete everything under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Birders Diary\Settings. Then restart BD and all should be fine.
