I'm running Birder's Diary on my Mac through Fusion.  It has worked just fine.  I had to have some work done on my computer.  I've just added in several hundred new locations and sightings, which went just fine.  When I tried to go into reports to check on the new data, I get "no data" in these new locations.  So I rebooted, and now when I try to go into "add", I get a message, "Filters Too Restrictive!", "Nothing matches your list of filters", and it won't even open the program.

Any suggestions for getting operational again?

Bill

Hello Bill,

You are probably specifying one of your new locations as a location filter. None of those locations have any species associated with them in the checklist table. While you may have sightings for those locations, that filter is checking another table for checklist data. BD comes by default with checklist data at the State level in the US. But any new locations you define will not have that.

Either specify a state for your location filter, or check the box under the location filter for "show only things sighted at this locaiton". If you check that, then BD will use the things you have sighted at that location as the filter instead of checking the checklist table.

Let me know if I can assist further,

Jeff
