I want to save the reports I'm designing.  Do I need to upgrade to an Advanced version to do that?  If so, what version do I need to purchase and how much will it be?  I'm running the most current version of Birders Diary Basic, I believe, v.3.6.49, and have the most recent version of the Clements/Cornell taxonomic file, v.6.4.1.

I can answer this one for Jeff  (who I think is away for a few days). Yes, an Advanced User license is required to save custom report designs  (you can change a report up to print it, but you can't save those configurations without the advanced user license).

If you are currently licensed for version 3.6  (Basic User license), you can upgrade to an Advanced User license for $59 from the Birders Diary Online Store at www.birdersdiary.com/Purchase/BirdersDiaryOnlineStore/tabid/136/Default.aspx.

You can read more about the differences between the Basic and Advanced User licenses at www.birdersdiary.com/ProductInfo/FeaturesandScreenShots/Licensing/tabid/66/Default.aspx.

Thanks Kevin. I was pulled out of town due to a death in the family. Sorry for my complete absence during last week.

My condolences, Jeff - just wish I felt more confident helping on the tougher technical issues!
