My computer has contracted a virus. So far, efforts to dislodge it have not worked. On Monday I intend to have some help removing it, but these efforts may result in the erasure of my entire hard disc. My data files are all backed up, but not my software, most of which I can reload from the CDs I have. However, I may have to download Birder's Diary again and I may need some help. This is just a warning; I'll let you know when I know.

Thanking you in advance.

Hi John,

Just make sure you have a copy/backup of your database. That has all of your information.

You can download/install BD at any time from the Downloads page on this site. Just use the instructions for moving BD to a new computer (essentially what you will be doing if you have to format your current drive).
